Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using the leagues.sh platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

leagues.sh is a youth sports management platform that enables sports organizations ("Organizations") to manage programs, registrations, teams, and communications. Families and individual members register for programs offered by Organizations through the platform.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Accounts for players under 13 must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated.
• You may not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or minors.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Scrape, crawl, or data-mine the Service without written permission.
• Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial communications.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions.

5. Registrations and payments

Program registration fees are set by Organizations. leagues.sh facilitates payment processing but is not responsible for setting fees or issuing refunds. Refund policies are determined by each Organization.

Payment card processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. and subject to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store payment card numbers.

6. Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (messages, registration data, etc.). By submitting content you grant leagues.sh a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you submit. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

7. Children's accounts

leagues.sh is designed for use by sports organizations that serve youth athletes, including children under 13. Accounts for children under 13 must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian who consents to data collection and use as described in our Privacy Policy and in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Parents or guardians may request deletion of their child's data at any time. See the Privacy Policy for details.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

leagues.sh is a platform provider. We are not responsible for the conduct of Organizations, coaches, or other users, or for the quality, safety, or legality of any program offered through the Service.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, leagues.sh SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) US$100.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
